Our Qualifications

Raised on a farm near Brock in Southeast Nebraska, Bob Grundman has been a Lincoln resident for over 40 years. Prior to joining the insurance industry in 1983, he earned his Bachelor's in Mathematics Education and his Master's in Educational Administration at UNL and taught for 11 years in the Lincoln, Nehawka, and Murdock communities.

 Bob's active community involvement has included: YMCA Youth Sports coach; Christ Lutheran Church Council, Men's Choir, and Foundation President; President of the Colonial Hills Neighborhood Association; Leadership Lincoln Alumni; AGN Fraternity Alumni Advisor; Junior Achievement Classroom Consultant of the Year; Nebraska March of Dimes Executive Board Chair; LIBA School Liaison Committee; Lincoln Midget Football Board; Sunrise Optimist Club President and Optimist of the Year; Star City Optimist Youth Foundation President; Nebraska Optimist Clubs' Governor; and member of American Legion Post 246 and the BryanLGH 55PLUS and Lincoln Seniors Foundation boards.

To keep pace with the changes in personal and business insurance services, Bob belongs to and has been an officer of both the Lincoln Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the Lincoln Association of Health Underwriters and is a past President of the Nebraska Health Underwriters. He has earned the Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation. In addition, Bob earned the CSA designation by completing a comprehensive course on senior issues conducted by the Society of Certified Senior Advisors, an organization of over 2500 members in 43 states. He has been the recipient of numerous industry and company awards including both the Lincoln and Nebraska Health Underwriter of the Year honors. In 2004, Bob was named National Association of Health Underwriters' (NAHU) State Legislative Achievement Award winner for his local, state, and national legislative activity on behalf of his clients and the 20,000 NAHU members. In addition, he chaired the NAHU Medicare Advisory Group. Bob served the 1,300 member Nebraska Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors as its Political Involvement Chair and was the recipient of the Cornhusker Chapter's 2009 O.R. Frey Lifetime Achievement Award.
